Disaster Relief

GBC formed a Disaster Relief Team (DRT) in order to prepare our church to respond to calls for assistance after natural disasters occur.  The DRT works through the Missions Ministry Team. The members are: Edgar Babian; Mike Clark; Jimmy Dunn; Clark Finch; Curt Fry; Dick Garrett; Rich Garrett; Scott Guyette; Gina Johnson; Ken Malone; Ed Mrok; Jack Parnell; Mike Riggs; Ted Stratton; Betty Williams; Rick Williams. Dennis Rasche is the Staff Liaison. GBC’s DRT will be working under the direction of the Tennessee Baptist Association.

The DRT presents an excellent opportunity for GBC to show Christ’s love for others during their times of need.  We never know when these natural disasters will strike, therefore, we must be ready to respond on a moment’s notice.  Please consider serving in this vital ministry.
