Two hundred and eighty-five years ago, J.S. Bach wrote the Goldberg Variations, a work that became one of the most important musical compositions ever written. This piece is based on a simple theme from which Bach creates thirty variations that are beautiful in both sound and construction. On Thursday, March 26, you will have the rare opportunity to experience this work performed by Dr. Dawson Hull. The concert, part of the Masterpiece Concert Series, takes place at 7:00 PM in the GBC Music Hall and will be preceded by a lecture at 6:00 PM. One piece, one performer, one hour. Come enjoy God’s gift of music!
