Coach Judy Welsheimer, of the Memphis Blue Twirlers, teaches the fundamentals of the sport of baton twirling. Discover how to manipulate the silver stick with full hand twirls, rolls, and tosses. The class will focus on proper warm up along with basic dance skills, teamwork, exchanges, group games, a mini routine, and interaction with teammates.
Batons are available for use in class the first two weeks. Students are measured the first class for proper size to order and for use in class the first two weeks. The baton fee is due at the beginning of the session.
Cost for Baton: $40 (Payable to instructor)
Class Times:
Mondays 5:00-6:00pm (5-7 year olds)
Mondays 6:00-7:00pm (8 years old +)
