Masterpiece Concert #3: Rhapsody in Blue
Exactly 100 years ago, in February 1924, George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue was first performed. It is known for bringing jazz from the streets of New York into the concert hall. Join us on February 29 at 7 p.m. for a performance of this famous work, along with other works written in the 1920s, featuring Dawson and Taneea Hull, as well as other outstanding musicians from the Memphis area. The concert takes place in the GBC Music Hall and is free and open to the public.
