GSM Graduate Photo Shoot
After worship on April 19 we will head out to grab lunch as a senior class and have a photo shoot with Cindy Thymius. Students will need to bring money for lunch and one outfit for their photo. We will use these photos for the Graduate Dinner and Recognition as well as on Graduate Sunday. If you cannot participate in this photo shoot, please submit a high resolution digital copy of your graduate's senior photo by CLICKING HERE before April 24.

Graduate Dinner and Recognition
On Saturday, May 16 at 6:00 PM, we are hosting our first Graduate Dinner and Recognition. The Student and College Ministries will provide a plated dinner for all graduates and their parents at no cost. Additional family members and friends are encouraged to attend at the cost of $10 per person. If you would prefer not to join us for dinner, you and your family are invited to join us for the Recognition Ceremony at no cost, which will start at 7:00 P.M.
This year we are asking the parents of graduates to shoot a short 3-4 minute video message to their student, which will be shown during the Dinner and Recognition. Each family will prepare their script in advance and have 15 minutes to film; we will provide the equipment, dates and times for you to come to the church to shoot your video.
These videos can range from funny to serious; it is up to each family as to what direction to take with their video. Please keep in mind that they will be shown to the entire group, so please plan appropriately. (Below are two examples of videos that have been done by parents Drew knows.)
Dates for videos to be filmed are April 6, 7, 14, 20, and 21, beginning at 5:00 PM each day. Times are blocked into 15-minute segments, with the last time slot starting at 6:45 PM. To schedule your video shoot email Donna Howell by CLICKING HERE or call the student ministry office at (901) 260-5763

Graduate Sunday
Each year on Graduate Sunday GBC recognizes graduates from High School, College, Masters, and Doctorate programs during our 10:30 A.M. worship service. Each graduate will be presented to the church body and will receive a gift from their respective ministry. Registration for Graduate Sunday is due by April 24 (included in Graduate Weekend Registration.
